Mardeeville is a city that can be described as a “melting pot” of the multiverse. It’s a place where beings from different worlds and walks of life converge – mixing with the culture of what was once a predominately human city.
For those South of the river, life is fair and ordinary. But North of the river, it’s a different story. Even after decades of living in a post-scarcity world, earthly problems always seem to persist somewhere. And this city is just one place where you can find them.
For a certain group of 5 guys struggling to pay rent in the North, life is boring, sluggish, absurd, and depressing. That is until one day a superhuman battle causes a freak accident in the MPA’s Megaprison, where 6 wanted criminals of the multiverse are unintentionally freed. Sent to clean up the damages, the group happens to run into one of these convicts. And due to their stupidity they allow them to hide out in their home to avoid getting caught by the MVPD.
The other 5 convicts make their way through the city. One of them – “Parson Mavel” – discovers the desperate state of the city’s populace, and makes it his mission to make things right, as he searches for the others and forms alliances.
Meanwhile, the MVPD goes on the hunt for the convicts. The city border is on high alert as officers hunt for the escaped individuals. Lieutenant Sevius and his MVPD droid Agent Halls are tasked with finding the convicts before things get too out of hand.
